Primary Duties:

  • Prepares vehicles for body repair work, including thorough disassembly of vehicles to assess all damages upfront, researching proper OEM repair procedures, assist in creating the repair plan, and meticulous assembly and attention to detail of the finished product
  • Promptly notifies management of any additional repairs needed — including assessing any supplemental vehicle needs, labor, parts, and communicating with the estimator and/or manager.
  • Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.

Requirements:

  • 18+ years or older
  • ASE/ICAR certified a plus
  • 2+ years in automotive collision body repair
  • Integrity of workmanship
  • Ability to communicate effectively

Primary Duties:

  • develops estimates by costing parts, supplies, and labor
  • calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
  • obtains insurance estimates by contacting insurance companies; reviewing damage estimates with insurance adjuster; resolving repair and replacement requirements
  • maintains communication with customer by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle, obtaining and providing contact phone numbers, answering questions and concerns, and arranging temporary transportation

Primary Duties:

  • Assist Refinish Technician/Painter as needed
  • Buffs or cleans surfaces after paint dries
  • Requests necessary materials
  • Removes rust, grease, and dirt from work surface prior to painting
  • Masks and protects parts not being painted or coated
  • Fills cavities and dents  with appropriate filler material to attain smooth surface
  • Inspects painted surfaces for quality of workmanship, noting and runs, sags, or unpainted areas
  • Observes all federal, state, local, and Kendrick Paint and Body safety rules and regulations in performance of duties

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others, both oral and written
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, push/pull, kneel ,crouch, and reach frequently
